Some of these blocks are made from the same VIP print as the blocks in Quilt #1, while others are from the Fabri-Quilt flag and eagle print used for the border. Since these blocks varied in size, I sashed them out with white to make them all 12" and then set them with the red sashing. The blue star cornerstones were cut from an old print found in a friend's stash.

Linda has enhanced the stars with a double row of outline quilting, internal quilting on each block in a secondary star pattern (see bottom photo), and points out to the block corners. She's quilted additional stars in the setting triangles. Wow!
