| Lay the first border down so that it overlaps the second border, and match the pattern on the folded edge. Don't pin yet. |

| Fold the first strip over to expose the folded seam allowance. The two strips are now right sides together. Carefully match the print on the seam allowance with the print on the second strip, which is right side up. Pin just to the right of the seam allowance, keeping the allowance free. |

| Unfold the seam allowance and stitch on the pressed seamline. After checking the pattern match, trim the extra fabric from the second strip and press the seam. |
