Do you have a leftover stack, or a smaller print that might look lost in the 15" Kaleidoscope Pinwheel block? Would you like to try this block in a smaller size? I have drafted this block in various sizes to determine the cutting measurements. Since some of the measurements were a bit persnickety (can you find 1 3/16" on your ruler?), I have rounded them up to the nearest 1/8". Note also that the rectangles are cut a bit long and trimmed down after piecing the quarter-blocks, as in the original 15" block in the book.

I have not given yardages for these block sizes, but 8 repeats of any print with a repeat length of over 7" should yield more than enough blocks for most projects.

Please refer to my book, “Magic Stack-n-Whack® Quilts” (AQS, 1998) for complete instructions on cutting and piecing this design. Have fun creating new projects with these smaller blocks!
