Assembling the Quilt Top
 

Arrange the 15 Seedlings blocks, along with the 15/8" x 71/2" background rectangles and the 31/2" x 71/2" background rectangles, as shown above. Sew the blocks together in vertical rows, then sew the rows together.

Borders
Measure the quilt width across the center. Cut two 4" wide borders this length, piecing if necessary. Sew the borders to the top and bottom of the quilt. Measure the quilt length down the center, including the borders. Cut two 4" borders this length and sew them to the sides of the quilt.

Layer the top, batting, and backing fabric. Quilt and bind. Don't forget the label!
